Fergie Admits Wrong Tactic

Fergie Admits Wrong Tactic. Manchester United had created difficulties in the face Southampton in the FA Cup fourth round. Sir Alex Ferguson acknowledged he made mistakes that make MU tactics left in the first round. Down with many players lining, MU perform poorly in the first round in a trip to Southampton. Lose determination, The Red Devils finished the first 45 minutes in a position behind 0-1.

Entering the second half made some changes to Fergie. The decision was a positive fruition because Michael Owen and Javier Hernandez break down the wicket alternately host to give 'Setah Red' 2-1 victory.

"Sometimes we create our own difficulties, but to be honest, somehow I might mix up the system in this fight," said Ferguson told MUTV on Skysports.

"We tried (formation) diamond in the middle of the field and of course Manchester United used to play a wide field and I think it is our problem. It does not work at all. We got control of the ball but never really attacked.," Said Fergie.

In addition to strategic changes in the second round, another thing that makes the MU is able to reverse the situation is the goal of Southampton ahead of the break. Goal was actually triggered MU to perform better in the second half.

"In the first half there was no nothing. (Southampton) scored just before halftime, motivated us to even better in the second half," Ferguson finished.
